Iasi Airport (IAS) is an international airport located 8 kilometres east of the city of Iasi, in northeastern Romania.
In June 2012, a new passenger terminal, Terminal 2, was constructed to handle Schengen flights. The original terminal, modernised in 2001, was renamed Terminal 1 and now serves exclusively non-Schengen flights.
Iasi Airport is accessible from major European hubs, with connecting flights via airlines serving the region. For transfers to and from the airport, you can hire a car or travel by bus on route 50, which connects the airport with Iasi city centre. Taxi services are available outside both terminals.
